It is through my art that I find a fulfillment in life that cannot be achieved by any other means. It is a form of meditation, a way to break free. The more I paint, the more I notice the world around me through an artistic lens—the shadows of trees on the water, the multi-colored sky in a dramatic sunset, the glow cast on the mountains in the evening.

Through my work, I try to capture the full emotional experience of being in the landscape. When you are standing at the edge of a valley looking up at the mountains around you, or watching the Atlantic ocean crash on a rocky beach, your heart feels like bursting. There’s nothing like being immersed in nature, looking out at the world and feeling so connected to it. Its that feeling of presence that is so hard to come by sometimes in your daily life, but that we always strive to achieve.

Spreading awareness and appreciation of wild spaces through art—and working to preserve them for others to enjoy.

Art, travel, and love for nature intersect and overlap in so many ways. I’ve always felt the need to give back to the foundations that keep wild places wild—after all, like the painter Pierre Bonnard said, “Art will never be able to exist without nature.” I will be donating a percentage of proceeds from select pieces towards various organizations benefiting the environment, national parks, and other related causes.
